    Christopher Brian Corum (1988). Operating a motor vehicle while under the influence, first offense. Sentenced to four days in jail with credit for one day served. Fined $200 plus court costs and service fee. Subject to KAPS and ADE. License suspended for 120 days with hardship exemption possible after 30 days.

It’s been over a year since her multi-million-dollar culinary empire came tumbling down after her admission that she used a racial slur 30 years ago.

  • Superhero play warns kids about bullying

    Two New Highland Elementary School students acted as bullies in a superhero standoff Thursday morning in the school’s gym.

    Drama by George, a character-building theater company from Louisville, brought its original production “Be the Hero” to New Highland Elementary School as a way to educate students against bullying.

  • Boys' district final moved to Friday

    Today's scheduled boys' district tournament soccer final between Central Hardin and John Hardin now has been moved to a 5 p.m. start on Friday at John Hardin High School.

    Both teams will advance to the region tournament next week.

    The girls' district tournament final is at 7 p.m. today between Central Hardin and Elizabethtown at the EHS athletic complex.

  • District soccer final rescheduled

    Because of field conditions after several days of rain, the 17th District boys' soccer championship game again has been postponed.

    The district final matching John Hardin and Central Hardin has been rescheduled for 5 p.m. Friday at John Hardin High.

  • Shredding benefit scheduled Saturday

    A free community shredding event will be conducted Saturday morning south of Elizabethtown.
