30 years of Feeding

Standing before a wall of cardboard boxes, long-time Feeding America Kentucky's Heartland board member Dan Pawley praises the 19 employees and more than 600 volunteers who help distribute food across 42 counties from the non-profit organization's warehouses and offices on Peterson Drive in Elizabethown. The organization celebrated 30 years of service Tuesday since being started as Kentucky Food Bank. It distributes more than 12 million pounds of food annually to needy families, children and seniors.
