  EDWARDS. Army Maj. Thomas R. Edwards is currently deployed as a member of Task Force Marne, one of more than 20,000 soldiers from the Fort Stewart, Ga.-based 3rd Infantry Division and elements of the 101st Airborne Division from Fort Campbell. The soldier is serving a 15-month tour in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Edwards is a deputy division chaplain with the 3rd Infantry Division. His home station is Fort Stewart. He has served in the military for 16 years. He is the son of J.K. and Peggy Edwards of Hodgenville. His wife, Bobbi, is the daughter of Wanda Formhals of Elizabethtown. A 1980 graduate of LaRue County High School, he received a bachelor’s degree in 1984 from Campbellsville College and a master’s degree in 1987 from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, Louisiana.
