Opponents of a decision by Silverleaf Sexual Trauma Recovery Services’ board to discontinue the Via Colori street painting festival were expected to argue their points to the agency later this month, but now that won’t happen.
Weeks ahead of the meeting, the board of directors for the agency, formerly known as the Advocacy and Support Center, voted to uphold its decision to cancel the event, severing ties with the festival and releasing the licensing rights back to Via Colori’s founder, Rick Compton.
