Allegro

The Allegro at Helmwood hosted its first Derby Dash-n-Dine on April 24. This was the kick-off fundraiser for the 2008 Alzheimer’s Association Memory Walk to be held in the fall. The Allegro dining services staff prepared and served barbecue ribs, chicken, potato salad, baked beans, coles law, Derby Pie and Derby Hat cakes. There were more than 200 guests in attendance. It was a successful event with the Allegro raising more than $800 in donations for the Alzheimer’s Association.
