It’s impossible to enter the home of Vinnie and Cheryl Alonso without seeing a number of photos of their late son Isaiah. They are a reminder of their son, and a reminder of the reason behind their latest endeavor.
The Alonsos, parents of Isaiah Alonso, the 6-year-old Radcliff Elementary School student who died from cancer in September, have taken over running the Isaiah Alonso Foundation, an organization created in their son’s honor. Its mission is to help families with ill children.
