Susan Simmons and Teresa Dilbeck were guests of the Hardin County AM Rotary meeting May 2, representing the American Cancer Society – Relay for Life. Simmons, who serves as director for the Hardin County Relay for Life, gave a presentation on the American Cancer Society and the organization’s efforts to eliminate cancer as a major health problem by preventing cancer, saving lives and diminishing suffering from cancer through research, education, advocacy and service. Dilbeck shared her personal experiences as a breast cancer survivor.
