The American Legion Auxiliary of the Ritchie-Trent Post No. 148 in West Point recently held a drive to provide those items a female most needs when she is admitted to a hospital, especially if it is an unexpected trip. With the help of one of the female veterans, who was recently a patient at the VA hospital, the club had an insight of those needs. With the help of the Legion family, the group collected four boxes of items that were donated to the VA Hospital in Louisville. Some of the items were socks, Chap Stick, lotion and books.
