American Legion Post No. 113 hosts veteran’s lunch

American Legion Post No. 113 hosted a luncheon honoring World War II Veterans at the post Dec. 27. Sons of the American Legion prepared a roast beef dinner, including dessert for all veterans, their companions and other guests. Junior Sons of American Legion members led attendees in the prayer, Pledge of Allegiance, provided introductions and helped serve the veterans. Veterans in attendance were Jake Owen, U.S. Navy; Chester Brooks, U.S. Army; Veachel Lile, U.S. Navy, Earl McMillen, U.S. Navy; Mary Archambault, U.S. Navy; JC Norris, U.S. Navy; and Nonne Atkinson, U.S. Army.

Junior SAL members Elijah Crow, Ethen Crow and Gabriel Binkley participated in the American Legion post No. 113 veteran’s lunch.
