By Marty Finley

Seasoned cyclists and amateurs alike can start 2014 on the “right pedal stroke” New Year’s Day, said Adam Lobert, owner of Bullmoose Brothers Bicycles in Elizabethtown.

The Central Kentucky Wheelmen is hosting its annual New Year’s Day ride at 2 p.m. Wednesday, which will embark from Bullmoose Brothers and head toward Pennsylvania Avenue.

Lobert, an organizer for the ride, said the route then will travel around Freeman Lake Park and come out on Pear Orchard Road and Main Street before circling back to the bicycle shop on Helm Street.
