Central Hardin High School students will have the chance to perform this summer alongside some jukebox heroes.
The Central choir will perform May 27 with Foreigner at the Heartland Music Festival at Freeman Lake. They are to receive $1,000 for their program from the band.
Foreigner has been asking for local school choirs to perform with them for about a year, Elizabethtown City Councilman Kenny Lewis said. The band asked Lewis to find one for them.
“I told them I didn’t think that would be a problem at all,” he said.
