Arlene Ann Lamphere, 86, of Elizabethtown, died Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2011, at her residence.
She was a native of Hospers, Iowa, a member of St. James Catholic Church and was an employee of Perkin and Elmer for more than 25 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Lamphere; a son, Gerald Lamphere; her parents, Leo and Johann Stapenhorst Reuter; and a sister, Alice Hollis.
She is survived by two sons, Robert L. Lamphere of Elizabethtown and David Lamphere of Quincy, Ill.; one daughter, Geraldine (Kenneth) Grawe of Quincy; three brothers, Robert Reuter of Cherokee, Iowa, Jerome Reuter of Hospers, Iowa and Harold Reuter of Moline, Ill.; three sisters, Rosella Reuter of Hospers, Viola Zenk of Alton, Iowa and Joanna Trienan of Lincoln, Neb.; three grandchildren, Laura (Michael) Madsen of Quincy, Ill., Andrew Grawe of Lakewood, Colo., and Katherine (Robert) Marold of E. Peoria, Ill.; and two great-grandchildren, Alexander and Miranda Madsen of Quincy.
The funeral is Monday, Jan. 10, at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Sioux City, Iowa. Entombment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
Local visitation is from 5 to 6 p.m. Jan. 6 at Brown Funeral Home in Elizabethtown followed by a Rosary service.
Visitation in Sioux City will be at Larkin Funeral Home on Monday morning.
