Joe and Sara Arnold of Bowling Green announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Rebecca Jill Arnold, to Samuel Terry Kennady, son of Paul and Diana Kennady Geary of Cave City.

The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Mary P. Arnold of Nashville, Tenn., and the late Richard W. Arnold and the late Dr. and Mrs. R.D. Shrewsbury. She is a 2004 graduate of Greenwood High School and a 2008 graduate of Western Kentucky University where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in social work.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Dr. and Mrs. H.Q. Kennady of Elizabethtown and Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence D. Geary of Clarksville, Ind. He is a 2002 graduate of Elizabethtown High School and is attending the University of Louisville. He is employed by Loucon Training and Retreat Center in Leitchfield and Memorial United Methodist Church in Elizabethtown.

The wedding is Aug. 2, 2008, at State Street United Methodist Church in Bowling Green with a reception to follow at The Club at Olde Stone.
