Ash Wednesday Noon Service

Celebrate Ash Wednesday with a brief but complete service (lasting approx. 30 min.). The service includes a litany, imposition of blessed ashes, and Holy Communion. Communion is open to Christians who are baptized in water in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We are on the Square - just south of the courthouse.

Ash Wednesday begins a 40+ day season of penitence, fasting, and self-discipline called Lent that prepares us for the glorious news of Christ's resurrection from the dead on Easter!
