Atria sponsoring school supply drive

A group of senior citizens are showing their concern for school-age children through an upcoming school supply drive.

Atria Senior Living is sponsoring a school supply drive from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Aug. 1 at the assisted living facility in Elizabethtown. Items will go to students in Hardin County.

An employee at Atria recently toured some of the schools as part of a leadership program, Atria Executive Director Cindy Bratcher said. She made Atria administrators aware of the need students have for supplies.
