Learn to say ‘no’
I read with dismay the article about the financial woes of the operator of the Woodland Wildlife animal rescue facility in Radcliff. Ms. Wilcox’s present problems are the result of people dumping unwanted domestic animals at her facility and her inability to turn them away.
The mission of Woodland Wildlife is the care of injured wild animals, not the care of terminally ill cats that nobody wants. It is unfair of her to expect unlimited support from the public, local veterinarians and animal clinics.
