In July, Stephanie Cutter, the president's deputy campaign spokeswoman, said “Either Mitt Romney, through his own words and signature, was misrepresenting his position at Bain to the Securities Exchange Commission, which is a felony, or he was misrepresenting his position at Bain to the American people.”
