Deal with the facts

Are facts relevant any more when it comes to political discussions?

Republicans don’t want big government running everything; are against regulations for businesses; want the government out of our personal lives; want people to take responsibility for their own decisions in life.

Yet they contradict themselves when it comes to the abortion debate. They tell the woman she can’t have one. Is this a new form of slavery created by the Republicans and the religious institutions of this country?

The Republicans ran this nation for eight years and destroyed it. They started two wars; created a huge deficit because of the wars; gave tax cuts to their rich friends and corporations; and had the opportunity to catch or kill Osama Bin Laden at Tora Bora in Afghanistan.  The Republicans gave banks billions of dollars with no accountability before Bush left office.

Republicans and religious institutions have declared war on women with their new spokesman, Rep. Todd Akin.  Republicans and religious institutions want complete control over women like the Taliban in Afghanistan.

Mr. Romney is spouting the same philosophy from the Bush years. Mr. Bush and Republicans bankrupted this nation.

Republicans created this disaster and accepted no responsibility for it. The Republican party, conservative news media, tea party and religious institutions (the walking dead) continue to blame Democrats for Republican failed policies after eight years of being in the driver’s seat. Why didn’t Republicans resolve immigration, energy, war and health care problems when they were in charge?

Democrats bailed out Wall Street, car companies and large banking institutions with the requirement to repay those loans because of the economic failures of the Bush Administration. President Obama got Bin Laden.

If Republicans want this country to move forward, they will have to deal with the real facts facing this nation, not Fox News facts.
