Opportunity knocks at windows, too
I respectfully beg to differ with Mr. Jim Black’s July 31 letter, “Opportunity knocking.” He refers to the restaurant tax as an investment in the community, which is insulting. The restaurant tax will collect $2 million per year, yet the recent baseball event only generated $58,000. That is a terrible return on $2 million.
