BASEBALL: Adcock signs deal, will start in scrimmage Tuesday (02/18)

It’s been a busy last few days for Kansas City Royals right-handed pitcher Nate Adcock.

On Friday, the former North Hardin star was 1-of-7 players who agreed to one-year contracts with the Royals. Adcock agreed to a deal worth $500,540.

According to the Kansas City Star, “Those salaries are what each player would make if he remains in the majors for the entire season. The major-league minimum salary for 2013 is $490,000. Players make substantially less if sent to the minors.”
