The Bluegrass Beekeeping School will be held March 12 at Kentucky State University in Frankfort.
The annual program offers two tracks, a basic introductory course for new beekeepers and those who may be interested in beekeeping as a hobby, and a large number of sessions for experienced beekeepers to deepen their knowledge of bees, behaviors and management.
More than 400 beekeepers from more than 50 Kentucky counties and several surrounding states attended last year's school.
