Benefit auction planned for auctioneer

David L. Knight, who has auctioneered at benefits, soon will be helped by such a fundraiser.
A benefit supper and auction is planned Jan. 15 for Knight at Upton Community Center. The 62-year-old Sonora native suffered a stroke in September, and the event will help his family with expenses.
Knight founded Knight’s Real Estate and Auction Service in Cecilia.
The fundraiser begins at 5 p.m. with food and live music. The auction starts at 7.
