A 25-year-old woman riding a bicycle died Saturday after being struck by vehicles on South Dixie Boulevard near Radcliff Elementary School.

The Hardin County Coroner's office identified the deceased as Beverly E. Jeter, who lived in Elizabethtown but was in the process of relocating, according to Deputy Coroner John Clemons.

He expects the cause of death to be ruled as multiple blunt force trauma.

Radcliff Police Department spokesman Bryce Shumate said Saturday night that a bicyclist in the southbound lane of U.S. 31W was struck by vehicles multiple times shortly after 9 p.m. Saturday about 20 yards south of the school.

Shumate said it appears the bicyclist entered the southbound lane and was struck.

Clemons said a toxicology report will be done and those results will be back in a few weeks or a month.

Vine Grove Police, Radcliff Fire Department and Hardin County Ambulance also assisted at the collision.
