Mrs. Bobbye Kinser, 80, of Dahlonega, Ga., passed away Sunday, April 15, 2012, at Gracemont Assisted Living and Memory Care in Cumming, Ga.
Mrs. Kinser was born in Vine Grove on Oct. 9, 1931. She had lived in Lumpkin County since 1998. Mrs. Kinser was devoted to children and spent 40 years teaching Sunday school at churches that she attended.
Mrs. Kinser was the daughter of the late Kenneth Adkins and Ernestine Smith Adkins; and also was preceded in death by two brothers, Donald Adkins and Jim Adkins.
She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Damon Kinser of Dahlonega; three daughters and sons-in-law, Teree and Martin Nethery and Judy and Tim Powell, all of Dahlonega, Laurie and Ken Moore Jr. of Cumming; two sons and daughters-in-law, Kenneth and Linda Kinser of Jeffersontown and David and Jennifer Kinser, all of Dahlonega; two brothers, Buddy Adkins of Benton and Bill Adkins of Frankfort; 12 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and numerous other relatives.
The funeral was Tuesday, April 17, at Banister Funeral Home Chapel in Dahlonga with the Rev. McKay Caston officiating.
