A change is in store today for motorists who travel Boone Road in northern Hardin County.
The road will be switched to its permanent realignment beginning today. Contractors working for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet have finished the road’s approaches on the east and west of the new Ky. 361, which is known as the Elizabethtown-to-Radcliff connector.
The new alignment uses a small section of Ky. 361, in between, to access each side of Boone Road as it goes from Ky. 220 near Rineyville to Wilson Road near John Hardin High School.
