With his team leading by just six points on the road against longtime rival Meade County at halftime Thursday, Cody Elmore wanted to pick up the intensity and give his team a boost entering the postseason.
The senior forward put the Central Hardin Bruins on his back in the third quarter, leading them to a win in both teams’ regular-season finales.
Elmore scored 12 of his team-high 20 points in the third as the Bruins pulled away from the Green Wave, 70-51.
