Troy Squires went from ice-cold to red-hot Tuesday night.

After missing his first three 3-pointers against the visiting Adair County Indians, the Central Hardin senior guard buried each of his next seven tries from behind the arc to lead the Bruins to a 67-41 win over their 5th Region rival.

Squires, who finished with a game-high 25 points, also had seven rebounds, five assists and five steals. Senior forward Alex Crowder added 16 points, seven rebounds, three assists and two steals for the Bruins (10-10), who matched their longest winning streak of the season – two.

Junior forward Dillon Glenn had nine points and six rebounds as Central Hardin handed Adair County (15-10) its third straight double-digit loss.

NORTH HARDIN 73, LOUISVILLE DESALES 59. Senior guard Ruben Gosa had 23 points, senior guard Nick Lewis added 21 and the host Trojans (18-7) pulled away from DeSales (14-11) for their fourth straight win.

Gosa also had five rebounds, two assists and two steals, while Lewis grabbed eight rebounds. Senior forward Tyler Landry chipped in with 11 points and 17 rebounds.

North Hardin led 45-40 going to the fourth quarter, when it outscored DeSales 28-19.

LOUISVILLEMALE 56, ELIZABETHTOWN 49. The host Panthers (13-10) turned the ball over five times to start the fourth quarter, allowing the Bulldogs to turn a three-point deficit into their third straight win.

Sophomore post Zane Najdawi led Elizabethtown with 15 points, five rebounds and three assists, while junior guard Ja’Von Cotton chipped in with 12 points, two assists and two steals.

Senior forward Chas Jones added nine points, four rebounds, two steals, one assist and one block.

LARUECOUNTY 71, NELSON COUNTY 41. Senior guard Kelton Ford nearly outscored the homestanding Cardinals by himself, finishing with 34 points as the Hawks (15-7) won for the fifth time in six games.

Ford almost had a quadruple-double as he had 10 steals, eight rebounds and seven assists, while junior forward Tyler Howell added 13 points and eight rebounds.

Junior forward Kody Key-Close scored nine points, while senior guard Dustin Coulter and sophomore forward Caleb Sheffer each scored five.

Junior guard Zeb Wilson added 10 points, four rebounds and four assists, while senior forward Connor Williams chipped in with nine points and 16 rebounds.

The teams combined for 43 points in the second quarter; Meade County led 36-31 at the half.

Freshman guard Joshua Jones and junior guard Michael Dial each chipped in with 10 points and three rebounds, while Isaac Yates had nine points and five rebounds.

Chris Kerulis added seven points, six rebounds and four steals for North Hardin Christian, which led 47-20 at the half.
