Thirteen was unlucky on the road Tuesday for the Elizabethtown Panthers.
The Panthers were held to just 13 points in the second half as the host Louisville Trinity Shamrocks extended their winning streak to 13 games as the state’s top-ranked team pulled away, 64-37.
Trinity, the defending state tournament champion, has won 15-of-17. Elizabethtown has lost 4-of-5.
Elizabethtown (14-12) trailed by one early in the second quarter and by 10 early in the third before Trinity (24-4) began to pull away.
