Bardstown Bethlehem’s unbeaten start is no more.
Junior forward Ja’Von Cotton and sophomore post Zane Najdawi each scored 14 points, leading the Elizabethtown Panthers to a 55-46 win over the Eagles in the championship game of the Campbellsville University Holiday Classic on Saturday night.
Elizabethtown (7-2) snapped Bethlehem’s 11-game winning streak.
Najdawi also had eight rebounds and three blocks, while junior guard Ryan Harris scored 11 points.
