Playing smart in the Leachman Buick-GMC-Cadillac/KHSAA Boys’ State Golf Championship at Bowling Green Country Club is vital if teams and players are going to experience success.

North Hardin senior Ryan Daniels realizes this, and Elizabethtown coach Andy Games has been preaching that to his players.

The course isn’t the longest, but it can be penalizing, especially the Bermuda rough. Daniels said after his practice round the rough has dried out since the rain Monday and Tuesday although it’s still going to be difficult.
