BOYS' PREP SOCCER: LaRue County earns first region tournament (10/10)

LEBANON— The fifth time was the charm for the LaRue County boys’ soccer team. So was the sixth time.

Senior Alex Cook had five goals and one assist and fellow senior Marshall Metcalf had one goal and two assists as the second-seeded Hawks beat the third-seeded Campbellsville Eagles, 7-0 in the 18th District Tournament’s late semifinal Tuesday at Marion County.

Senior Ricardo Collado added two assists for the Hawks, while senior Mason Morgan had one goal and one assist and junior Jacob Hurt had one assist.
