The Bridge Community presents its 6th performance of “Behold the Lamb of God: The True Tall Tale of the Coming of Christ” at 3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

It is a singer-songwriter-style concert written by Andrew Peterson that tells the tale of the anticipation and arrival of Jesus in Bethlehem, said worship and arts pastor Matt Black.

The style of the concert mixes folk, bluegrass, country and rock, he said.

“Ever since I saw Andrew Peterson’s original ‘Behold the Lamb of God’ concert at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, this has been my favorite Christmas event,” Black said. “It’s been such a blessing to be able to perform our version with some of my best friends over the past few years.”

The performance will open with original music by Josh Brown, Robby and Tricia Payne, Rich Fyhr and Matt and Joanna Black.

At intermission, guests can enjoy coffee and other beverages and desserts.

New this year will be an art gallery exhibit titled “Images of Peace.”

Admission is free but organizers encourage attendees to bring nonperishable pantry items for The Bridge food pantry. Any excess food will be given to Feeding America, Kentucky’s Heartland.

The concert is held in The Bridge Community Nexus Building located at 6749 South Wilson Road in Elizabethtown.

Doors open at 2:30 p.m.
