FRANKFORT — Despite the state budget squeeze, money slated to help surrounding communities grow along with the realignment of Fort Knox appears to be gold-vault safe.
Gov. Steve Beshear on Tuesday said the $100 million in bonds for infrastructure improvements is on track for this biennium.
“We’re full speed ahead,” he said during a conference call with reporters.
