LEBANON JUNCTION — Police arrested two men after discovering stolen grave markers at one man’s home.
According to police, authorities arrested Jeffery Walker, 41, after 19 stolen grave markers were found at his Lebanon Junction home.
Police said Terry Walden also was arrested in connection to the case.
Walker has been charged with 19 counts of receiving stolen property over $300 and Walden has been charged with 20 counts of receiving stolen property over $300, police said.
The markers, which were new, were reported stolen from retailers in Simpson County and Elizabethtown.
The Bullitt County sheriff's office received tips the grave markers were at Walker's home and found them while executing a search warrant.
Police said an additional tombstone was found in Elizabethtown while a man contacted police after hearing of Walker’s arrest.
More arrests are possible in the case.
