FORT CAMPBELL — After calling just one witness, defense attorneys for Brent Burke, accused of killing his estranged wife and her former mother-in-law in Rineyville in 2007, rested their case Monday morning.
The case is being tried at Fort Campbell where Burke was stationed at the time of the shooting deaths.
William Carter, private defense attorney, called to the stand a Kentucky State Police detective who interviewed the Burke children three times about the homicides.
