The Military Order of the World Wars (MOWW) and the Military Officers Association of America (MOAA) recognized cadet outstanding achievement by participating in the Fort Knox ROTC Leaders Training Course Lt.Col. graduation ceremonies on July 8 at Brooks Field, Fort Knox. The Lt.Col. is conducted only at Fort Knox for students who elect to enter the Senior ROTC program in their junior year. The MOWW Medal, ribbon and certificate was presented to one cadet in each company for consistent excellence in leadership and whose achievements are in the honored tradition of the United States Army. The MOAA medal, ribbon and certificate was presented to one cadet in each company for demonstrating exceptional leadership and performance. Both the MOWW and MOAA Fort Knox Chapters are very active in recognizing excellence in Junior and Senior ROTC performance. They recognize these programs as one of the most prolific sources of future officers in the Army.
