Car wreck on North Mulberry Street

A car is pulled onto the back of a rollback tow truck as an SUV sits on its roof waiting to be hauled away from the wreck scene Tuesday evening on Mulberry Street at the intersection with Commerce Drive in Elizabethtown. Emily Bell, 18, of Upton was driving a Ford Fiesta east on Mulberry Street when she turned left in front of Matthew Kitts, 37, driving a Toyota 4Runner west, and was hit by the SUV, according to Elizabethtown Police, which responded around 9:30 p.m. Two passengers, Cory Bigos, 20, of Fort Knox, and Shane Weddel, 26, of Medora, Ind., in the Ford Fiesta were taken to Hardin Memorial Hospital, EPD reported.
