Although a Radcliff man pleaded guilty to federal charges of wire fraud and impersonating a soldier, a local case against him for mimicking a police officer remains active.
Jonathan W. Short, 23, was indicted in January into Hardin Circuit Court on charges of second-degree burglary and two counts of impersonating a peace officer. Two months later, a complaint was filed in U.S. District Court charging Short with impersonating a soldier, wire fraud and entering government property under false pretenses for the purpose of committing a felony.
