Cecilia author Dan Lee has published his second book, “The L&N Railroad in the Civil War: A Vital North-South Link and the Struggle to Control It.”
The non-fiction book was published by McFarland and Company Inc. and recounts the military events along the L&N from 1861 through 1865. Among those events included are the creation of Camp Nevin near Glendale and John Hunt Morgan’s 1862 Christmas raid against the railroad trestles on Muldraugh Hill.
Lee’s first book for McFarland was “Kentuckian in Blue: A Biography of Major General Lowell Harrison Rousseau.”
