As I write this and look outside, I see a very dreary cloudy, chilly day and the weatherman says there will be inches of snow Wednesday morning in some places. I guess some will be happy to see, and get a day off from school and have fun playing in the snow. Personally, I am looking forward to the warm sunny days that can’t be too far off.
ORGANIZATION NEWS. Stephensburg Lodge No. 212 is sponsoring a fish fry from 5 to 8 p.m. each Friday evening through Good Friday. They not only serve fish, but also shrimp and chicken strips. You can buy either a sandwich or a full meal. Come out and join them, I’m sure you won’t be disappointed. On Good Friday, March 29, Pirtle Chapter No. 449 Order of the Eastern Star will sponsor a bake sale along with the fish fry. It’s a great time to buy a pie or cake for Easter without having to bake one. We have some very good cooks in our organization.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY. “Unlike fine wine, conflicts that are left alone rarely improve with age.” — Eric Harvey.
HELPFUL HINT. Wash down the walls of your refrigerator each time you clean it with vinegar. The acid in the vinegar will keep mold from forming. Good old vinegar, it can’t be beat for so many things.
