Cheryl Alonso remembers her son, Isaiah, as a boy who liked superheroes and dancing like Michael Jackson.
“He was just a fun-loving little boy who liked to be everyone’s friend,” she said.
Since losing Isaiah, 6, a first-grader at Radcliff Elementary School, to cancer in 2010, Cheryl and her husband, Vinnie, have created a foundation in Isaiah’s name to help families with children diagnosed with cancer.
The annual Birthday Bash is the foundation’s main fundraiser, which takes place near Isaiah’s birthday.
