Grace Eunhye Choi and Thomas Scott Johnson announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage.

THOMAS SCOTT JOHNSON AND GRACE EUNHYE CHOI

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Choi Sangsik of Seoul, South Korea, and the late Kim Hyungok. She is a graduate of Geumok Girls’ High School and Myongji University in Seoul, where she received a Bachelor of Arts in education. She tutors children and is planning graduate studies in English education.

The prospective groom is the son of Brad Johnson of Elizabethtown and Patty Thomas of Stamping Ground. He is a graduate of Western Hills High School and Western Kentucky University where he received a Bachelor of Arts in 2001 and a Master of Arts in 2006. He is a doctoral student studying American Literature at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. He is employed by UNLV, Singapore.

The wedding is at 3 p.m., June 18, 2011, at Freeman Lake Park in Elizabethtown.
