Glendale launches its own countdown to Christmas this weekend as the southern Hardin County town welcomes once again a holiday tradition to its downtown.
The multi-weekend Christmas in the Country returns Saturday, starting with the Christmas parade at 11 a.m., said Mike Cummins, President of the Glendale Merchants Association.
The parade will march down Main Street into Glendale, where visitors can access free carriage rides from noon to 4 p.m. as well as free train rides from noon to 3:30 p.m., Cummins said.
