Elizabethtown City Council tabled a vote on a design firm for a new swimming facility Monday after additional questions have arisen regarding one of the finalists for the job.
City officials said they were not comfortable choosing a firm until they gathered more research on one of the companies vying for the work, Brandstetter Carroll.
Last week, City Engineer Scott Reynolds said the company was one of two finalists culled from five proposals by a committee that included Mayor Edna Berger and Executive Assistant Charlie Bryant.
