Clarence “Bud” Brangers, 87, of Radcliff, died Saturday, March 17, 2012, at North Hardin Health and Rehabilitation Center in Radcliff.
Mr. Brangers was a veteran of World War II, a member of the Knights of Columbus Father Diemert Council 3379 and was a volunteer for the American Red Cross.
He was preceded in death by a son, Thomas Eugene Brangers; three brothers, two sisters, one grandchild and two great-grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Pauline Vowels Brangers of Radcliff; three sons and daughters-in-law, Richard and Janet Brangers of Mount Washington, Leon and Peggy Brangers of Elizabethtown and Donald and Lou Hood Brangers of Morristown, Tenn.; a brother, Stanley A. Brangers of Paynesville; a sister, Mary Jean Sherrard and her husband, Donald, of Louisville; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian burial was Tuesday, March 20, at St. Brigid Catholic Church in Vine Grove with the Rev. Leo Craycroft and Rev. Roy Dentinger officiating. Burial was in St. Brigid Church Cemetery.
Nelson-Edelen-Bennett Funeral Home in Vine Grove handled arrangements, including a prayer service Monday.
