Club members celebrate St. Patrick’s Day

The Goldenrod Homemakers Club met March 8 at the home of the newest member, Linda Skees, the March hostess. Following the regular business meeting, Judy Sandfer presented a lesson on Brain Power and discussed our memory and Alzheimer’s disease.

President Alice Bennett gave a report on International Day on Feb. 25, that was enjoyed by all. She told about customs from Germany, Japan and Ukraine.

The club voted on making a cookbook to raise money for projects in the coming year. After a potluck meal, members played games and Laura Cox won the door prize. Members exchanged secret pal gifts. The next club meeting is April 12 at the home of Elaine Conder.
