Pat Nuccitelli and Marilyn Williams of the Radcliff Woman’s Club went on the annual horse farm tour sponsored by the Suburban Woman’s Club of Lexington on Oct. 15. The tour included Walmac Farm, Spindletop Hall and Gainesway Farm.
Walmac Farm, originally known as Valley Farm, was part of the Elmendorf Farm. It is home to several outstanding studs, including Successful Appeal and Songandaprayer.
The second trip was to Spindletop Hall, which is famous for its library that was used for a scene in Secretariat.
