The Hardin County Coroner’s office is inviting the community to attend a graveside funeral service for an Elizabethtown woman whose body has gone unclaimed by her next of kin.

Patricia Bliss’ service is at 10 a.m. today at Elizabethtown City Cemetery. She was 68.

“Everyone deserves a proper service,” Deputy Coroner Shana Norton said.

Percell & Sons Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Bliss died Aug. 4 at Hardin Memorial Hospital. She had lived at Signature HealthCARE on Woodland Drive in Elizabethtown since October of 2012. Coroner officials said it appears the woman had not had a visitor for about a year. She previously lived in the Yarwood Mobile Home Park in Radcliff.

Coroner Dr. Bill Lee said Butch and Karen Pierce are listed on the woman’s contact sheet at Signature, but they have been unreachable.
