Staff Report
RADCLIFF — Radcliff residents have reached out to help the Ramirez family. Katheryn Ramirez and her two sons were left with next to nothing after a fire destroyed their mobile home Wednesday morning.
Many responded Thursday by giving. A mobile home has been donated to be placed on the lot of the burned trailer once it is moved. Furniture and clothing have been provided as well as a donation of dog food for Daisy, the family's Labrador who alerted them to the flames.
The Lunch Box restaurant on Knox Avenue has agreed to donate all profits from its lunch June 20 to the family.
Those interested in helping can call Jim Leonard at (270) 304-7175.
The Hardin County Chapter of the American Red Cross provided emergency assistance and is accepting donations at its office at 405 W. Dixie Ave., Elizabethtown.
