An annual report issued by the National League of Cities on fiscal conditions shows a large majority of U.S. cities continue to struggle with tax revenue shortfalls brought on by a desiccated property market, a lifeless economy and flat consumer spending.
But Hardin County’s three-largest cities continue to buck the national trend as their revenues have maintained or even grown while others stagnate.
